At the mouth of Pictou Harbour, Pictou County
Octagonal wood tower, red & white stripes, 55 feet high. The first tower of 1883 was replaced by the present tower in 1904.
This tower burned to the ground the evening of July 5, 2004.

- 1904 - replaced original tower of 1834 (FHRB report 1986, # 214)
- 1922 - 1941 - 4th order dioptric lens, fixed white, 12m, lower red
- 1962 - 1965 - elevation raised from 50 to 60 feet
- 1992 - electric lantern, flashing white (5.5s), lower quick flashing red
- 2004 - completely destroyed by a fire of unknown origin. The fire department made valiant efforts to save it.
