• Light Characteristic: Fixed White (1883)
• Light Height: 028ft feet above water level.

• 1854 - light red - 1862 - changed to white
• 1883 - catatropic light
• 1912 - in operation, from postcard
• 1889 - replaced by second tower

History Items for This Lighthouse

• 1889 - replaced original tower of 1854 - 1922 - 7th order lens, fixed white
• 1926 - changed to 4th order lens,occulting white (10s) - 1941 - same as 1926
• 1954 - hurricane Edna submerged causeway, flooded tower and dwelling
• 1971 - 1982 - replaced by skeleton tower
